About The Matcha Guide

The Matcha Guide is an independent site about matcha and Japanese tea. We write beginner-friendly, hands-on guides to the tools and tea that make a better cup: chasen whisks, ceremonial-grade matcha, chawan bowls, and cast-iron teapots.

Everything here is based on first-hand experience with Japanese tea, not rewritten from other blogs. When we recommend a product, we explain the trade-offs honestly, including the downsides.
